Board of Deacons

The office of the deacon, as set forth in Scripture,  is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ.  Deacons minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless, and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the community of faith.  They therefore operate as the eyes and ears, hands and feet of the UGCC, as they seek out and serve the suffering and the needy.  The Board leads and coordinates the Congregational Care ministry of the UGCC.

The current UGCC Board of Deacons consists of the following elected and ordained deacons, each serving a term of three years in accordance with G-14.0200 of the Book of Order (Constitution) of the Presbyterian Church, USA.
