Pastor Emmanuel Oppong-Agyare

He is grateful for the unique journey that has shaped him into both a Registered Nurse and a Pastor.
Born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana, Pastor Emmanuel Oppong-Agyare developed a passion for caring for others early in life. This compassion led him to pursue a career in nursing, where he have had the privilege of comforting and healing patients.
Since 2008, Pastor Oppong-Agyare has served as a dedicated member of the United Ghanaian Community Church in Wyncote, PA, initially as an Elder from 2007 to 2013 and then again from 2015 to 2018.
Alongside his healthcare career, he felt a divine call to serve spiritually. Enrolled at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, where he completed a Certificate in Congregational Leadership in May 2018. He is currently serving as the Pastor in Charge of Pastoral Care, offering spiritual, emotional, and practical support to church members during both joyful and challenging times. Balancing both roles has deepened his understanding of compassion, empathy, and faith, allowing him to serve people holistically—body, mind, and soul.
Pastor Emmanuel is married to Mrs. Benedette Oppong-Agyare. The couple are blessed with four boys; Emmanuel Jr., Donovan, Giovanni and Andre
His journey is a testament to the power of service and faith, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those he encounter every day.
